BRAND IDENTITY AND DESIGN

What was the design challenge?

 

Customized care requires customized sandwich fillings. Van Oordt provides the answer with 12 portion packs of sweet sandwich fillings of one flavor packed together in a compact outer box.

 

Competitors already have such small packages, but with all kinds of different flavors. The boxes with one flavor per outer box deliver strong efficiency benefits in the supply chain. There is less waste and less inventory; institutions can choose flavors that are popular in the department or location.

 

 

I am responsible for the complete development of brand identity and design of the new portion packs. The name VarieJantjes was conceived together with Jacques Vos of Hotcopy and emphasizes the many variations, while the diminutive word makes it clear that these are mini-packs.

 

The 10 most popular flavors of sweets are represented, from strawberry spread to peanut butter. All get a cheerful packaging with their own look. VarieJantjes have been received with great enthusiasm in healthcare. “Great enjoyment in miniature” is fast becoming the new norm.
