Bikl Pickles

A DISTINCT FACE AND IDENTITY FOR BIKL

Arend van den Berg from startup Ferm Foods sat down with me in May 2019 with the following question, “We want to put the Bikl brand on the map and make insanely delicious fermented pickles for the Western European wholesale market and consumers. Will you design the brand identity and packaging for this?”

 

As an advocate of a healthy lifestyle and inspired to work with a team of professionals, I said a resounding yes. I would like to contribute to give functional foods their own face and identity. How wonderful it is to breathe new life into this millennial preservation method and give it a new look in 2020!

Bikl is an honest product, 100% natural, made with natural vinegar, fresh herbs, spices and flavorings. So you easily increase your daily intake of vegetables. This latest sour brand Bikl, a product that originated on an allotment, but has been professionalized by the recipe of former top chef Yolanda van der Jagt.

 

With this comes distinctive packaging. I chose a contemporary and colorful packaging, with illustrations of the taste bombs, making the pickles hip and real seducers.
